What We Do:
- Discuss the assignment with you
 - Work with you to brainstorm topics
 - Work with you to create an outline
 - Help you improve organization & clarity
 - Review basic grammar & punctuation rules
 - Discuss key concepts of "good" writing
 - Read aloud with you & discuss your written piece
 - Give you feedback on your writing
 - Guide you to effectively rewrite & revise your work
 - Help you develop skills to critique & evaluate your own writing style
 - Provide handouts that review basic writing skills & rules
 
What We Don't Do:
- Proofread your paper, marking errors
 - "Fix" problems without your input
 - Write or rewrite your paper for you
 
When attending the Communication Center always bring the following when you attend the Communication Center:
- Your instructor's assignment sheet
 - Any handouts & notes related to the assignment
 - Specific questions about your writing
 - 2 printed copies of your draft without written edits
