GCCC successfully completed the Higher Learning Commission’s Assessment Academy in Chicago this week. The academy provides participating institutions a structured, mentor-facilitated, four-year program aimed at advancing and accelerating an institution’s efforts in their commitment to assess and improve student learning.

New toolboxes are in the shop for GCCC automotive students! The students purchase the tools through the program and are able to take the tools and box with them as they transition into the workforce.

GCCC student-athlete Denim Rogers broke the national record in the indoor decathlon and took home the individual National Championship at the 2018 NJCAA National Indoor Track Meet in Lubbock, Texas on March 2. Congratulations to Denim Rogers on bringing home another National Championship for GCCC!

Criminal Justice Students at GCCC practiced making traffic stops on campus, April 5. The Garden City Police Department assisted in the training and helped with traffic stop pointers. Hands-on training for real world situations in BusterNation!
