Start your educational career in social work at GCCC. We're here to prepare competent, professional social work generalists to join the workforce after graduation or transfer to a four-year university.
Social workers help people solve and manage their everyday problems. They work in a variety of settings: mental health clinics, child welfare and human service agencies, hospitals, non-profit agencies, and more. Our Associate in Science in Social Work will help social work majors, like you, with the cultural competence to practice with diverse and at-risk communities both within southwest Kansas and outside our state.
