Enrollment Checklist

Complete the checklist below to begin your journey as a Buster! High School students wanting to enroll in GCCC classes can visit our Dual-Credit Student page for registration information.

  1. Apply for Admission

    • Complete your online Admissions Application. The application is a two-step process that begins with creating an account. You will then be directed to the 'My Account' Page, where you can start a new application.
  2. Submit Supplemental Items

    • You can view your supplemental items on your My Account Page by clicking on 'View' under 'Action' next to your current application. *May not be required for all
      applicants. Check your application dashboard or contact admission@gcccks.edu for any questions.
      • TB Questionnaire: All GCCC applicants taking classes on campus are required to fill out a tuberculosis questionnaire before registering for classes. The TB Questionnaire can be completed here.     Questionnaires can be emailed to admission@gcccks.edu or uploaded to your application account.
      • Send Transcripts/ACT/SAT Scores: Unofficial transcripts and ACT/SAT scores can be emailed to admission@gcccks.edu. Official high school and college transcripts can be sent directly from the institution to GCCC at:

        Transcripts can also be sent electronically through National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment.
  3. Take assessment test (Conditional)

    • If it has been more than 3 years since you have graduated from high school or taken the ACT/SAT, you will be required to take our complimentary Accuplacer placement assessment prior to enrollment. To set up a appointment contact the assessment center at 620-276-9654.
  4. Complete Enrollment Information Form

    • After you've completed all of the steps above, you will receive an acceptance email with the link to an enrollment information form. An advisor will contact you for enrollment after you submit your enrollment form.

      If enrollment is not open for your term yet, you will receive an email with the enrollment form link when registration is open.

  5. Apply for Scholarships

    • Academic Scholarships are awarded based on cumulative high school or college GPA. Scholarships are awarded in the order received - Apply Here!

  6. Submit your Application for Federal Student Aid

    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) to qualify for federal aid or federal work study positions. Make sure to include GCCC's School Code: 001919 on your application prior to submission.

  7. Complete the Housing Application

    • Click here to read more about our dining and housing options and to complete the 2021-2022 housing application.
  8. Set up Tuition and Fee Payments

    • All tuition and fees must be paid in full or students must be signed up and current on a payment plan before any future enrollments can be processed. One week before classes begin students can view their student account online by logging into their Buster Web, under "Review Student Account/Make Payment/ Set up Payment Plan.
