Business Administration

If you see yourself working in a field with strong potential for professional growth and in an environment where you can exercise your leadership skills in a wide-range of career paths, then you may want to study Business Administration.  The Associate in Science degree with an emphasis on Business Administration program prepares you with the many skills required to manage a variety of businesses. Some of those career fields include: operations management, sales, administrative services management, industrial production management, distribution management, and social and community service management, to name a few.

In the GCCC Business Administration program, focus is placed on developing decision-making, supervisory, and organizational management skills.  Your education will provide you with the business skills necessary to succeed, should you find an opportunity to work in entry-level management and supervisory positions.  You may also wish to transfer this degree to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor's degree.
