Beef Feedlot Production
Prepare for a career in the beef cattle feeding industry by learning the fundamentals
of animal health, nutrition, welfare, and commercial feedlot operations. Through hands-on,
industry-focused training, you'll develop the practical skills employers are looking
for and build a strong foundation for a successful career in livestock management
and beef production. The Beef Feedlot Production program at Garden City Community College prepares students
for careers in the beef cattle feeding industry. This 21-credit certificate provides
the technical skills needed for entry-level positions in commercial feedlot operations.
Industry-Focused Training
Students learn animal health, beef production, nutrition, feeding practices, animal welfare, and commercial feedlot operations through coursework designed to meet industry needs.
Hands-On Learning
