Full Time vs. Part Time
The Department of Veteran Affairs determines the rate of pursuit by the number of credits and days/weeks of the semester/session/term/cycle. Students can typically be considered a full-time VA student based on this criteria but status can change without notice:
- Enrollment of six credit hours during a six-, eight- or nine-week cycle/session is considered full time for VA students.
- Enrollment of 12 credit hours during a 17-week session is considered full time for VA students.
