GCCC Nursing to Host Simulation Center Open House
[Garden City, KS] March 11, 2026 -- Garden City Community College will host an Open House for its Nursing Simulation Center on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Room 1101 of the Penka Building at GCCC. The event is open to the public and will give prospective students and community members an inside look at the college’s Nursing Program and Simulation Center.
This come-and-go event will provide attendees the opportunity to tour the nursing facilities, explore state-of-the-art equipment and patient simulators, and meet nursing faculty and current students.
The open house is designed for high school students, transfer students, adult learners, and anyone interested in pursuing a career in nursing. Guests will be able to ask questions about program requirements, admissions, clinical experiences, and career pathways in the healthcare field. Refreshments will be provided.
