GCCC Music Department to Host Band and Orchestra Concert May 7
[Garden City, KS] April 24, 2026 -- The Garden City Community College (GCCC) Music Department invites the public to an evening of live music at the Spring 2026 Band and Orchestra Concert on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The performance will be held in the KCB Bank Auditorium, located inside the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building on the GCCC campus.
This free concert will showcase the talents of the GCCC Concert Band and the Southwest Kansas Community Orchestra. The concert is directed by Makenzi Johnson, GCCC Assistant Professor of Music and Co-Band Director, and Dr. Matt McGrory, GCCC Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Orchestras.
