GCCC Board of Trustees Special Session Recap June 25, 2026
[Garden City, KS] June 25, 2026 -- The Garden City Community College Board of Trustees held a special session at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2026, in the Loretta Schultz Conference Room of the Student & Community Services Center on the GCCC campus.
As part of GCCC's Master Facilities Strategic Plan, the Street Replacement Project is a five-year, five-phase initiative to replace all streets across the GCCC campus. The Board of Trustees approved a bid from Klotz Sand Company, Inc. in the amount of $412,380 for Phase 1 of the Street Replacement Project, which will include Mac Street in front of the GCCC Fire Tower and Transportation Building. Construction is expected to be completed by mid-August and will be funded through the Capital Outlay Fund.
