GCCC Art Club to Host Affordable Art Sale at Mercer Gallery
[Garden City, KS] February 27, 2026 – The Mercer Gallery at Garden City Community College will host the GCCC Art Club’s Affordable Art Sale on Wednesday, March 4, from 6–9 p.m., with an opening reception and light refreshments. The sale will continue Thursday, March 5, and Friday, March 6, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
The sale will feature artwork created by GCCC students and professors, including paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, and T-shirts. Most pieces will be priced at approximately $25, making the artwork accessible to a wide audience.
Proceeds from the sale will support the Art Club’s upcoming educational trip to Kansas City, where students will visit major art museums. The trip provides valuable exposure to significant works of art and offers many students the opportunity to travel outside of Garden City for an enriching academic experience.
The Mercer Gallery is located inside the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building on the GCCC campus. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. The event is free and open to the public. Community members are invited to support local artists while purchasing original, affordable works of art.
