Garden City Community College to Host Speech and Debate Student Showcase
[Garden City, KS] December 11, 2025 -- Garden City Community College (GCCC) is proud to announce the upcoming Phi Rho Pi Speech and Debate Student Showcase on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in the KCB Auditorium inside GCCC’s Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building.
From 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., attendees will enjoy a dynamic lineup of student performances that highlight the talent, dedication, and hard work of GCCC’s competitors. The showcase offers the campus and community a chance to celebrate student excellence and support the team as they prepare for upcoming regional and national tournaments.
“This event shines a spotlight on the incredible growth and commitment our students bring to Speech & Debate,” said Savannah Sanburg, Head Coach of the GCCC Speech and Debate Team, Phi Rho Pi. “Their passion for performance, critical thinking, and storytelling truly inspires me every day. We’re excited to share their work with the community.”
The event is free and open to the public. GCCC invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend and support these talented student performers.
