GCCC BOT Hears Two Non-Academic Program Reviews

[Garden City, KS] March 13, 2024 -- The Garden City Community College Board of Trustees heard two non-academic program reviews during the regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

The Board heard non-academic program reviews for two departments on campus: Marketing and Public Relations and Library Services. Each report highlighted a department overview, institutional data, advancements from the past five years, and opportunities for future growth.

This official state of Kansas distinctive license plate is now available for purchase through the county treasurer's office for $70.50. From that, each purchase includes a $25 tax-deductible donation that supports the GCCC Alumni Scholarship fund.

The Board approved a release from contract with no liquidated damages for GCCC Business Faculty, Zach Towle.

An executive session was held where no action was taken.

The next meeting of the Board of Trustees is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 6 p.m. in the Ronald J. Scott Endowment Room inside the GCCC Beth Tedrow Student Center.
