GED Graduation 2026
Garden City Career Connection Academy (GCCCA) will proudly host its 2026 GED Graduation ceremony on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM in the KCB Bank Auditorium located inside the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building on the Garden City Community College campus.
In addition to recognizing GED graduates, the ceremony will also honor students who have recently earned American citizenship and those who have transitioned to Garden City Community College through the post-secondary and AO-K (Accelerating Opportunity-Kansas) programs.
Claudia Horney, Director of GCCCA, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event. “This ceremony celebrates more than diplomas — it celebrates courage, persistence, dedication, and perseverance. Each GED graduate has proven that it’s never too late to believe in yourself, set a goal, and achieve it,” said Horney. “I am incredibly proud of our students’ dedication, and it is an honor to witness these important milestones. Their journeys inspire our entire community, and this graduation is only the beginning of what’s ahead.”
