The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) program at Garden City Community College prepares students
to provide essential hands-on care to patients in healthcare and long-term care settings.

supervision.
Hands-On Patient Care Training
Through a combination of classroom instruction and clinical experience, students gain
skills in patient care, vital signs, and infection control. Training prepares students
to provide direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse, licensed practical
nurse, or physician.
Career-Ready Skills
Graduates are prepared to provide compassionate, entry-level patient care and support
healthcare teams in a variety of clinical environments.
