The Paramedic program at Garden City Community College prepares students for the highest
level of pre-hospital emergency medical care. Designed for those ready to take on

strong decision-making abilities.
Advanced Life-Saving Skills
Students master advanced emergency interventions, including airway management, cardiac
monitoring, and complex pharmacology. Training focuses on providing high-level care
in trauma, medical, and cardiac emergencies.
Immersive, Real-World Training
The program uses a flipped classroom model, combining online learning with hands-on,
workplace-style instruction. Students train in state-of-the-art simulation labs using
high-fidelity mannequins that replicate real patient responses.
