Graphic Design Contest for GCCC Police Truck Open to Students
[Garden City, KS] March 4, 2024 -- Garden City Community College Police Department invites currently enrolled GCCC students to participate in a graphic design contest for a new campus patrol truck. Submissions will be accepted until Monday, March 25th* Monday, March 18th, with the winning student(s) receiving a $500 scholarship and the opportunity to collaborate with the GCCC Marketing Department to bring their design to life.
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to all currently enrolled GCCC students, regardless of full-time enrollment or major. Team collaborations are welcome; if chosen as the winner, the team will split the $500 scholarship.
DESIGN:
Students are encouraged to use the provided PDF template:

to incorporate their designs digitally onto the truck body. Designs should revolve around and represent GCCC Police, incorporating elements such as the Power G logo, Broncbuster mascot, school colors, or other symbols that embody Garden City Community College.
SUBMISSION DETAILS:
Submissions are due by Monday, March 25th, 2024* Monday, March 18th, 2024, at 11:59 PM to melody.brooks@gcccks.edu. Your submission should include your name, contact information, and your design idea (a vector graphic is preferred, but your submission can be any digital file type).
SELECTION PROCESS:
A panel of judges will review submissions after the deadline. The chosen winner(s) will collaborate with the GCCC Marketing Department to refine their design. The GCCC Marketing Department reserves the right to modify the winning design to fit brand and design standards.
AWARD:
The design winner(s) will receive a $500 GCCC Scholarship for the current Spring 2024 semester.
