Reyna Garcia

President

Hi, my name is Reyna Garcia, and I am a sophomore here at GCCC. I am the SGA President this year, where I oversee and help lead our Student Government Association and work alongside our members to represent the student body, organize events, and make a positive impact on campus. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, shopping, lifting weights, and playing pickleball. I am currently a Business major, and in the future, my goal is to become an entrepreneur and start my own business. I am excited for this year and our new SGA team, and I look forward to seeing all the great events we have planned!

Andrea Alvarado Monroy

Secretary

Hi! My name is Andrea Alvarado Monroy, and I am a freshman at GCCC majoring in Pre-Health occupations. I am the Secretary for SGA, which means I take notes and meeting minutes to help keep our meetings organized. I am also involved in TRIO and enjoy being involved on campus. Outside of school, I like spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and enjoying new things. In the future, I hope to transfer to the University of Kansas to continue my education. If I decide to stay in the healthcare field, I hope to attend medical school. I am excited to work with our SGA team this year and help make GCCC a fun and welcoming place for all students.

I am an Art major, and I am also involved in Speech and Debate, GC3 Media, Art Club, and the Quizards team. When I’m not at a club activity, I like to lift weights, make jewelry, and read. In the long term, I hope to graduate and transfer to Kansas State University to get my bachelor's degree. After that, I hope to be accepted into law school, pass the bar, and become a civil attorney. For now, though, I look forward to working with SGA to create a fulfilling college experience for GCCC students.
