Policy Statement

The Garden City Community College Student Travel Policy is designed to ensure that College departments, recognized student organizations, and individual travelers adequately plan their travel to and from Garden City, KS

Procedures

Garden City Community College offers free bus transportation from the Garden City Regional Airport and Wichita Dwight D Eisenhower National Airport at the beginning of each semester, as well as return transportation to the Garden City Regional Airport and Wichita Dwight D Eisenhower National Airport at the end of each semester.  Dates will be posted on the GCCC website one semester in advance. These are the only college-sponsored travel arrangements to the Garden City Regional airport at no cost.   

If students are involved with college-sanctioned activities that prevent them from utilizing this service, GCCC administrators may approve additional transportation if necessary.  There may be fees associated with secondary transportation.

Students with travel itineraries that conflict with the GCCC transportation schedule are responsible for making alternate arrangements.
