Policy Statement:

In exceptional circumstances, the college may approve the offering of an existing course on an independent study basis (e.g. student must have the course to graduate that semester and there are not sufficient other students to warrant offering a regular class section).

Procedures:

The student will need to obtain the approval of the instructor and the Dean of Academics or Dean of Technical Education & Workforce Development before being allowed to register.
