Registration Now Open for GCCC’s Annual Exploration Day 2026
Garden City Community College (GCCC) will host its annual Exploration Day on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. The event welcomes high school juniors and seniors to campus for a hands-on look at GCCC’s academic and technical programs, student life, and opportunities available to help them achieve their educational goals.
Registration is now open. Students may sign up through their school counselor or online by visiting gcccks.edu/explorationday. Seniors who register by Wednesday, October 28, will be automatically entered into a scholarship drawing. The final deadline for all participants is Wednesday, November 4.
Throughout the day, students will have the opportunity to customize their experience by attending program sessions aligned with their interests. Students can also connect with campus clubs and organizations during a free lunch and club fair. During the lunch session, GCCC will award multiple scholarships to graduating seniors.
The schedule includes:
- Check-in: 8:30 to 9:00 AM at the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex
- Welcome Session: Introduction to GCCC
- Breakout Sessions: Three 45-minute sessions highlighting academic and technical programs
- Lunch & Student Organization/Club Fair: Free lunch and an opportunity to connect with student organizations.
- Event Conclusion: 1:45 PM
