Orchestra Camp 2025
Garden City Community College (GCCC), in collaboration with the Southwest Kansas Youth Orchestra (SWKYO), is excited to announce the 2025 GCCC Orchestra Camp, an engaging summer program for students entering grades 3 through 12. The camp will take place July 7–11, 2025, on the GCCC campus.
Daily sessions will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and will be held in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building, located at 801 Campus Drive.
The camp is open to all levels of experience, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. Campers will be placed in ensembles appropriate to their skill level and will work with experienced music educators to enhance their instrumental technique, musical knowledge, and collaborative performance skills.
The cost to attend is $100 per student, which includes daily lunch and a camp t-shirt. The t-shirt will be worn during the concert on Friday, July 11th at 2:00 p.m.
