35th Annual Hispanic Student Day Set for March 27th at GCCC
[Garden City, KS] February 16, 2024 -- The GCCC Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO) will host the 35th Annual Hispanic Student Day on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex at GCCC.
Hispanic Student Day is a unique and special opportunity to empower and encourage students to continue their education and make decisions that increase their educational opportunities and thus achieve a better future. This conference will teach high school students about college through sessions on College 101, Paying for College, Academic & Support Resources, Information Fair, and Key Note Speakers. Complimentary lunch will be served for all students and student sponsors in attendance.
Online registration is free for students in grades 9-12 and is due by March 8th. All high school seniors who attend will be entered into a drawing for three $500 scholarships to GCCC!
