Program Overview
The Secondary Education program at Garden City Community College prepares students
to become effective and inspiring middle school and high school teachers. Students
develop the instructional skills and subject knowledge needed to teach in areas such
as math, science, history, or English.
Teaching Skills and Classroom Preparation
