The GCCC meats judging team traveled to a meats judging contest held Saturday, September 12, in Austin Minnesota at the Hormel Research and Development facility. The team placed fifth overall, 2nd in the fresh meats division, 4th in questions, and 6th in processed meats and placings.
The Broncbusters burst onto the field of the Multi-Sport Complex for the first time in the 2015 season.
Garden City Community College celebrated an observance of the 14th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Members of the Garden City Fire Department dressed in full regalia raised the flag to half-staff.
The Student Government Association played "bubble" soccer during homecoming week on the lawn of the Beth Tedrow Student Center.
The Broncbuster Bookstore will soon be moving into a contemporary sleek, new store front. Next door to the new bookstore is a new cyber cafe that will house computers as well as a coffee bar. The cyber cafe will have tables and chairs as well as WIFI access for students to utilize. Outside the storefront is a newly renovated lounge area complete with a gas fireplace and TV.
Construction is busy around campus, and it will a little more time for the buildings to be back in order. Residential Life, enter through the East doors. At the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex, you can enter on the South side of the building. We will keep you posted when buildings will be finished with regular entrances.
