Welding Technologies Program

The Welding Technologies Program at Garden City Community College would like to offer you the chance to develop or upgrade your skills in the rapidly growing field of welding. Welders are in high demand right now across the country and a better career and higher wages are there for the taking if you get the necessary training you need to get the attention of employers by learning basic welding skills.

The Welding Technologies Program is an Accredited Training Facility for the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER).

NCCER certifications which are required by some employers and others offer a $1 to $2 per hour incentive.

Welding certifications under AWS D.1.1-Structural Welding Code, ASME Section IX-Boiler and Pressure Vessel Welding Code and API 1 104-Pipiline and Related Facilities Code are available in our program.
