GCCC Endowment Association and Higher Grounds, LLC Launch Scooter's Sip N Support Scholarship Initiative
The GCCC Endowment Association and Donny and Lindsay Huber of Higher Grounds, LLC are partnering to support scholarships for Garden City Community College students through a new initiative called Scooter's Sip N Support. The punch card program gives coffee lovers a simple way to enjoy their favorite Scooter's Coffee drinks while helping fund student scholarships.
Customers can pick up a Scooter's Sip N Support Punch Card at either Scooter's Coffee location in Garden City. Each purchase earns one punch, and after five purchases, customers can redeem their completed punch card for a voucher for one free small drink at Scooter's Coffee.
Every completed punch card does even more than earn a free drink. Higher Grounds,
LLC will also donate $5 to the GCCC Endowment Association's General Scholarship Fund,
helping provide scholarships for Garden City Community College students.

Every completed punch card helps create scholarship opportunities that open doors for students and support their educational goals."
As lifelong Garden City residents, Donny and Lindsay Huber have grown Higher Grounds, LLC into a locally owned business that operates Scooter's Coffee locations in Garden City, Scott City, and Liberal and employs more than 60 people across southwest Kansas. Through the Scooter's Sip N Support program, they hope to give back to the communities that have supported their business while investing in the next generation of students.

New GCCC students and their families received the first punch cards during New Student Orientation over the weekend.
Beginning today, August 17, Scooter's Sip N Support punch cards are available to the public at both Scooter's Coffee locations in Garden City (601 E. Kansas Ave. and 2517 Campus Dr.) and at Garden City Community College in the Student & Community Services Center (Main Lobby and the GCCC Endowment Association office on the second floor).
