GCCC to Host Harpsichord Concert April 13th
[Garden City, KS] April 11, 2024 -- Garden City Community College will host the first annual Clay Wright Harpsichord Concert on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM inside the KCB Bank Auditorium in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at GCCC. The concert is free and open to the public.
The concert features Baroque era music of Handel, Purcell, and Bach to compliment the beautiful sounds of the recently restored harpsichord, performed by GCCC faculty members Ronald Carlson and Matt McGrory, along with community musicians Clay Wright, Linda Adams, Freddie Dong, Melissa Fulton, and the Community Congregational Church Choir.
