GCCC Music Department to Host Three End-of-Year Concerts
[Garden City, KS] April 17, 2024 -- To wrap up the spring 2024 semester, the Garden City Community College Music Department will host three end-of-year concerts. Each concert begins at 7:00 PM and is free and open to the public inside the KCB Bank Auditorium in the Pauline Joyce Fine Arts Building at GCCC.
Small Ensemble & Jazz Band Concert – Tuesday, April 30th at 7 PM
Brass Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Rock Ensemble, and Jazz Band.
Band and Orchestra Concert "Home on the Range" – Thursday, May 2nd at 7 PM
Directed by Dr. Matthew McGrory, Makenzi Johnson, and CJ Johnson.
Choir Concert "Back to the Roots" – Monday, May 6th at 7 PM
Featuring spiritual and folk songs performed by GCCC Concert Choir and GCCC College Singers. Directed by Sean Boller. Collaborative Pianist: Maria Loving.
