GCCC Endowment Association to Participate in MatchDay on November 28th
[Garden City, KS] November 14, 2023 -- The GCCC Endowment Association will participate in MatchDay through the Western Kansas Community Foundation (WKCF) on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. On that day, WKCF will proportionately match donations made to GCCC Endowment Association. The 2023 match pool is $100,000 and will be divided among participating organizations in proportion to the total amount raised.
"MatchDay is a unique opportunity to grow our endowment exponentially, so that we can enrich our programs for even greater impact, for years to come," shared Lenzy Kuebler, Director of Endowment Association and Annual Giving at GCCC. "This is a rare chance to multiply the difference we make, and every gift will help us maximize the match."
Western Kansas Community Foundation will match donations between $20 and $2,000 beginning November 14 through November 28. Donations need to be directed to GCCC Endowment Association. All donations are tax-deductible and will be accepted in three ways:
- Online: WKCF is encouraging electronic donations at matchday.wkcf.org to help streamline the event and gift processing.
- In-person: From 7 am to 7 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 ("Giving Tuesday"), at the Gordmans building, 409 N. Main, Garden City, KS
- Mail-in: Mail to WKCF at 402 N. Main, Garden City, KS 67846. To be eligible for a match, checks must be made out to WKCF with a giving form designating the benefitting organizations, complete contact information, and anonymity preferences. Checks must be dated and postmarked between November 14th and November 28th in order to qualify for the match.
