GCCC Endowment Association to Hold Meet and Greet for New Staff
[Garden City, KS] September 11, 2025 – The Garden City Community College (GCCC) Endowment Association is proud to announce two new staff members and will celebrate them during a meet and greet on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 8:00 – 9:30 AM at Patrick Dugan’s Coffee House (301 N. Main Street, Garden City).
The Endowment Association is pleased to welcome Karlie Purdy as the new Director of Annual Giving, Events, and Alumni Relations. Originally from Texarkana, Texas, Karlie has already built a strong connection with Garden City, previously serving as GCCC’s Director of Admissions for a year and a half. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology & Addiction Studies from Northwestern State University of Louisiana (2017) and a Master of Science from Kansas State University (2019). Karlie brings strong leadership, passion, and experience to her new position.
In her new role, Karlie will focus on strengthening alumni engagement, leading annual giving initiatives, and coordinating key events that benefit GCCC students. “Transitioning to the Endowment Association is such a natural step for me,” Karlie shared. “I’m excited to continue supporting students in a meaningful way while also connecting with alumni and friends of the college.”
The Endowment Association also welcomes Aubrey Hahn as the new Annual Giving & Alumni Relations Office Coordinator. Aubrey attended GCCC before continuing her studies at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts Administration (2023). She brings valuable experience in fundraising, event planning, and donor management, as well as strong skills in customer service and organization.
Aubrey’s passion for relationship-building and community engagement will serve the Endowment Association well. “With my background in fundraising and event planning, I’m excited to help strengthen alumni engagement and support donor initiatives,” Aubrey said. “I look forward to growing connections, supporting our donors, and helping provide more opportunities for students.”
Together, Karlie and Aubrey bring fresh energy and a shared commitment to advancing the mission of the Endowment Association.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome Karlie and Aubrey to the Endowment team,” said Scott Kedrowski, Dean of Advancement and Alumni Relations. “Their energy, creativity, and dedication will be instrumental as we continue building strong connections with our alumni, donors, and community partners. This is an exciting new chapter for the GCCC Endowment Association.”
Community members, alumni, and friends of GCCC are invited to stop by Patrick Dugan’s Coffee House to meet Karlie and Aubrey, enjoy coffee, and help celebrate this new chapter for the GCCC Endowment Association.
