GCCC Endowment Association 2023 Scholarship Celebration Brings Together Students and Donors
[Garden City, KS] December 1, 2023 -- The Garden City Community College Endowment Association held its 2023 Scholarship Celebration on Thursday, November 30th in the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex. The annual celebration serves as a time for student scholarship recipients and scholarship donors to socialize and enjoy a meal together. The total number of students in attendance was 55, along with 72 donors and GCCC staff and administration, and five Endowment Board members.
After the meal, the GCCC Endowment Association presented the 2022-2023 Outstanding Service awards, which are granted in recognition of support given to the Endowment Association. This year's awards were presented to Nutrien Ag Solutions and Jeremy Gigot.
Lenzy Kuebler, Director of Endowment Association and Annual Giving at GCCC, shared her thoughts on the event, "This event is a testament to the incredible impact that scholarships have on our students and community. I want to thank the generous donors who, through their invaluable contributions, not only bridge financial barriers but also transform lives with their scholarships." She continued, "I'd also like to thank Nutrien Ag Solutions and Jeremy Gigot for their contributions to the Endowment Association. We are grateful for the continuous support from our community."
