GCCC Receives Donation from Golden Plains Credit Union to Support Scholarships
[Garden City, KS] December 4, 2025 -- Garden City Community College (GCCC) is proud to announce a $6,000 donation from Golden Plains Credit Union (GPCU) to support student scholarships. This marks the second year the donation has been made possible through the successful Buster Nation t-shirt fundraising initiative.
During the final home football game on Saturday, November 15, 2025, fans and supporters proudly wore the exclusive Buster Nation t-shirts to celebrate GCCC pride. Proceeds from the event were dedicated to scholarships, giving students greater access to education and opportunities to achieve their goals.
“Golden Plains Credit Union’s generosity demonstrates the power of community coming together to support students,” said Scott Kedrowski, Dean of Advancement & Alumni Relations at GCCC. “This donation will help remove financial barriers and open doors for students pursuing their dreams here at GCCC.”
