Garden City Community College and Garden City High School to Host Joint Forensics Tournament
[Garden City, KS] December 10, 2025 -- Garden City Community College (GCCC) and Garden City High School (GCHS) are pleased to announce that they will jointly host the Broncbuster/Buffalo Stampede Forensics Tournament on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at GCHS.
The tournament will feature a full slate of competitive events, including Extemporaneous Speaking (combined), Oration, Informative/Info 10, Impromptu, Prose, Poetry, Duet/Duo, HSA/HI, SSA/DI, POI, and IDA. All competition will adhere to the Kansas State High School Activities Association (KSHSAA) rules. Participants will take part in three preliminary rounds, followed by finals in each event.
“We are excited to partner with Garden City High School to host this tournament,” said Savannah Sanburg, GCCC Speech and Debate. “This event provides students across the region with an opportunity to showcase their talent, challenge themselves, and grow through the power of speech and performance.”
