Conference Room Renamed in Honor of Ronald J. Scott
[Garden City, KS] August 10, 2022 -- The GCCC Endowment Association was proud to present Kent Scott, of Scott Auction,
with a plaque signifying the new name of the conference room in the Student & Community
Service Center (SCSC) as the "Ronald J. Scott Conference Room". 
During the 2022 Endowment Auction on April 8th, Kent Scott won the annual naming rights for the SCSC conference room, which he chose to name in honor of his father Ronald. Kent shared that his father was a strong proponent of education and had encouraged Kent to attend GCCC. Scott Auction has a long-standing relationship with GCCC and the Endowment Association, running the auctions for the annual Endowment Auction for years.
The GCCC Endowment Association is very grateful to Kent Scott and Scott Auction for the continued support of the auction, where all proceeds benefit GCCC students through academic and technical scholarships.
