Conference Room Renamed: Barb Wells Conference Room
[Garden City, KS] July 20, 2021 -- The GCCC Endowment Association is proud to announce the new name of the conference room in the Student & Community Service Center (SCSC) building as the "Barb Wells Conference Room".
During the 2021 Virtual Endowment Auction on April 9th, Weeks Family Funeral Home of Sublette, Kansas, won the naming rights for the formerly titled "President's Conference Room" in the SCSC.
Weeks Family Funeral Home opted to name the room after Barb Wells for her years of hard work and dedication to the Endowment Association. Barb has been with the Endowment Association for 17 years and serves as the Endowment Office Coordinator.
The Endowment Association is very grateful to Weeks Family Funeral Home for their support in this year's auction, as all proceeds benefit GCCC students through academic and technical scholarships.
