Enrollment Days at GCCC allow you to take care of business before classes start in August!
You can complete a ACCUPLACER assessment (if you need to), meet with an advisor and enroll in classes, get your student ID, finalize your financial aid, and more!
We estimate testing and enrollment will last from 8:30 AM - 1 PM. Please plan accordingly. If you have any questions, please call us at 620-276-9608 or email us at email@example.com.
GCCC has a placement for success policy for math, reading, and English based on your ACT test scores. If your math score was a 22 or higher you will be placed in College Algebra. If your reading score was 18 or higher you do not need to take College Reading. If your English score was 18 or higher you will be placed in English Composition I.
If you have not taken the ACT or scores have not been submitted to GCCC, you will need to take a complimentary ACCUPLACER assessment prior to enrolling into classes. You may choose to take the ACCUPLACER assessment if your ACT scores are below placement for College Algebra, English Composition I or reading. Students who have taken English and math coursework for college credit do not need to submit ACT scores or take the ACCUPLACER placement again.
If you have taken English Composition I and/or College Algebra at another college, you must bring a copy of your college transcript(s) for advising purposes only.
To take advantage of the college experience, you will want to live on campus. To receive more information about our residence halls, please call 620-276-9516.
