Minutes from the last meeting were approved.

 

We are pleased to welcome Lesa Gilbert and Cyd Stein as members of this committee.

 

Martha Lisk attended our meeting to propose a holiday project for the campus. Her idea is for a drive through holiday lighting display. Each building, club or organization could design and create their own display. Broncbuster Holiday was suggested as the theme for the project. Other suggestions were to have a hot chocolate reception, caroling around campus or continuous music from a radio station. Belen will present the idea to SGA to see it they want to get involved in this project.

 

Criterion 3, 5 & 9 were chosen as a committee recommendation for the top three action plans for AQIP.

 

Belen will work with the various groups on campus to get the rotation done in the display cases in the SCSC building. They are due to change at spring break. She is also looking for more frames for the artwork in the hallway. More student groups and organization pictures will be added.

 

Steve reported that the Market Research Project is going very well. The group completed the phone calls with 301 valid calls. The SPSS (Statistical Program for Social Sciences) software was loaded onto computers on February 14^th and Lisa Myers, Linda Hill, Jayre Lee and Crissy Aslin will create a file for the responses so they can be sorted and used for different needs of the college.

 

Belen will send an email to the committee members to find a date that will work best for our next meeting.
