Course Catalog Description: This course examines the role of small businesses in today’s economy which will aid the student in preparations for business ownership and to aid in present ownership of a business. Strategies, objectives, dangers, management, relations, purchases, finances, legalities, locations, facilities, budgets, risk, inventories, laws and regulations of small business ownership are studied.
Small Business Management addresses some of the specific systems and processes every small business should utilized to maintain control of their business, stay focused on customer satisfaction, and prepare the owner for the wide range of daily tasks that must be successfully carried out.
The class is ideal for current business owners, or students wishing to broaden
their study of the entire business environment. Interested individuals may consider
