The Office Technology Department prepares future and
current office administrators, managers, secretaries
and clerical
support workers to meet the challenges of today and
tomorrow’s rapidly changing workplace. Students majoring
in Office
Administration can acquire foundation and advanced skills
in computer operations, keyboarding, business communications,
word processing, desktop publishing, and more. Students
obtain hands-on experience with the latest technology
in text
processing equipment, and learn effective strategies
for managing the office of the future, today.
The Department offers programs which
lead to an Associate in Science (AS) degree or an Associate
in Applied
Science (AAS) degree.
