Students will get some time off between semesters during the upcoming holiday break at Garden City Community College. While a few activities will still be taking place, the GCCC campus will be closed Dec. 22-Jan. 6.
The closing is effective for all college classroom and administrative offices, buildings and programs, as well as Saffell Library, Mercer Gallery, the Adult Learning Center and the Access and Opportunity Center.
Regular campus hours and spring semester enrollment are scheduled to continue through Dec. 21 and resume Jan. 7, when the college re-opens. Those hours include 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Fridays, with registration assistance available at the Admissions Office in the Student and Community Services Center.
Spring semester classes will begin Jan. 16. Enrollment information is available from the GCCC Admissions Department at 620-276-9608 or the main switchboard, 620-276-7611, which provides access to any extension.
