GCCC Last Date of Attendance (LDA)
Procedures for Reporting -- Spring 2008

Facts to remember: This is not optional !!
According to federal regulations, determining the last date of attendance is required for all institutions participating in the Title IV programs.

Students listed in each instructor’s reported information are those who have a grade of “F” or “I” for the Spring 2008 semester AND who had federal aid.   As a result, you may have students who earned an “F” or negotiated an “I” but they will not be on your list if they did not have federal aid.

LOGIN;  To log in to the web link, you will need to enter your employee ID number with 7 digits (i.e., ID #10556 needs to be entered 0010556).

Password:  The password will be your (5-digit) long distance code.

All instructors can access their information at the website after Monday, May 14th and whenever they have posted all of their grades – no need to wait until all faculty have entered their grades.

The information displayed will include the student’s name and the class (including section number) for the student.   The LDA (Last Date of Attendance) from School Maestro will be displayed.    Instructors should refer to that date.

1).  If it is correct, the date needs to be re-entered in the space provided for verification.

2).  If the date is NOT correct, the instructor should enter the correct date according to his/her attendance records for that student.

You can access a student’s record as many times as needed.

If there are no F’s or I’s entered by an instructor, when that instructor logs in to the web link provided, the system will take a bit to review the data, and then a blank report will be displayed.

Your cooperation with this reporting is expected and appreciated.  Accurate information often saves the student and the college from returning “unearned” federal financial aid.

If you have questions, contact Mary Wilson , Kevin Brungardt or Kathy Blau.
