General Help Wanted

 

The City of Overland Park Fire Dept is accepting applications for the position of FT Paramedic with an anticipated hire date of late May 2007. Minimum qualifications: age 18 or older, HS diploma or equivalent, possess a valid DL, completion of a drug screen, physical & psychological evaluation, and background check. Applicants are required to have a current State of KS Certification for Mobile Intensive Care Technician, MICT Paramedic or National Registry Certification for Paramedic with requirement to obtain KS certification within 1 yr of hire date. Starting monthly salary $3,123. The Paramedic salary structure is on a step plan reaching a monthly salary of $5,366 over a nine-year period. Excellent benefit package. Hiring Schedule:

 

Qualified applicants will be scheduled for a FireTeam Video Test the week of April 9, 2007. Info about this test is available at www.ergometricsonline.com/ftt/. Applicants successfully passing the FireTeam Video Test will be scheduled for a practical exam and oral interview the week of April 23, 2007.
