Whitney Corley is in her first season as the second assistant coach  of the Garden City Community College women's basketball program.  For the past two seasons Corley served as grad assistant for the Fort Hays State women’s program.  A native of Mooreland, OK.  Corley was a student assistant coach at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. She played basketball at Southwestern from 2003-05. Prior to that she played basketball at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Ok from 2001-03. Corley was an NAIA Division II All-American and was the 2005 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year.  She was named twice to both the All Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference and Academic All-Conference Teams.

Corley earned a bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from Southwestern College in 2006.

Corley earned her Master’s degree in Athletic Administration at Fort Hays State in May of 2008.
