Coach Sharp Add Six for 2010-2011
Head Women's Basketball Coach,
Alaura Sharp, has announced the signing of six more
student-athletes to her 2010 recruiting class. For more

Two Broncbuster Women Sign to Play Beyond Garden
Two players from the GCCC women's
basketball team have signed scholarship papers to continue their
playing careers at the four year level. Victoria Naylor, a
redshirt freshman, has signed to play at NCAA Division I school
Towson University. Sophomore Cheree Freeman has signed at
NCAA Division II Henderson State University in her home state of
Arkansas.
Rodriguez and Abbott Receive Region VI Honors
Marisela Rodriguez and LaMesia
Abbott have both received All-Region VI Honors for their efforts
in the 2009-2010 basketball season. Rodriguez, a freshman
post player, was named second team all-region and Abbott, a
sophomore guard, was named honorable mention all-region. For

Sharp Named KJCCC West Coach of the Year
Alaura Sharp has led a turnaround
of the Broncbuster women's basketball program and for her
efforts she has been named the Jayhawk West Coach of the Year.
In addition Marisela Rodriguez was named Jayhawk West Freshman
of the Year and first team all-conference. Victoria Naylor
was named honorable mention all-conference. For complete
