OFFSEASON INFO

 

The women’s soccer season is in the fall and usually lasts until the first of November. Once the season is over with, the players have off the rest of the semester from soccer and concentrate on their studies----enjoying Thanksgiving and winter break without the demands of soccer. Off season workouts start up around the first of February and run through the end of April. During this time, the teams participate in off season workouts Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Tuesdays and Thursdays consist of weight training, skill work, conditioning and intra squad scrimmaging. Wednesdays consist of ladder work, speed and agility work, abdominal work, skill work and intra squad scrimmaging. The team has three weeks off in March due to mid terms and spring break. In addition, the team is also given sporadic days off based on facility availability. The team follows the guidelines of the NJCAA in regards to out of season competition.
