  1. OPAC (Office Proficiency Assessment & Certification) software was purchases to prepare student for certification and skills assessment.

 

Strengthening College Processes

  1. Implemented the Administrative Procedures & Technology to online enrollment.
  2. Create modules for the Administrative Procedures & Technology class so that 1 to 3 credit hours can be taken.
  3. Brochures/flyers and bookmarks were implemented as an added tool to advertise the Office Technology program.
  4. Attend the WCET Conference to update skills for online teaching.

  1. Office Technology courses have been sequenced to meet the needs of our community and students.

Create a Ò24/7Ó staffed 40 terminal computer lab in Academic Building, capable of being broken into 3 seminar classes. Include open-entry and open-exit. Lab and seminars as arranged. Students, community, staff and instructors need to have lab available from 7:00 a.m. Ð 11:00 p.m., 7 days per week.

With structured classes, community use, B&I, Continuing Education, Staff Development, English FICE, etc. utilizing the 2 available labs, we are running out of lab space for students to complete required homework and offer required, demanded, courses. This Ò24/7Ó lab can be utilized by our community and all departments across campus.
