Literature Indexes at GCCC 

The Columbia Granger's Index to Poetry . Columbia University Press. (Call number R 808.81 S664g, shelved on the index tables at GCCC.) This work indexes poems by subject words, title, first line, and author and gives a reference to the anthologies which collect poems by many authors in one book. This complements Granger's Columbia Index to Poetry in Collected and Selected Works, which indexes poems in books which publish poems by one author.

The Play Index. H. W. Wilson Company . (Call number R 808.82 P722pn, shelved on the index tables at GCCC.) Volumes covering several years index plays by author, title, subject, and characters in the cast. An entry refers to the book of collected plays in which the play is published.

Short Story Index. H. W. Wilson Company . (Call number R 803 C771s, shelved on index tables at GCCC.) Volumes covering several years are arranged in a single list which includes entries for authors, titles, and subjects. The entry refers to the book in which the story was published.

Collected Criticism  

Contemporary Literary Criticism . Gale. Coverage: living authors and those who died after December 31, 1959. Multi-volume. Cumulative index in each volume (indexes to other Gale collections). 

Twentieth Century Literary Criticism . Gale. Coverage: authors who died between 1900 and 1960. Multi-volume. Cumulative index in each volume (Indexes to other Gale collections).
