Coach Chenoweth is now beginning her first season as the Assistant Coach for the Broncbuster Volleyball team.  Carey, a native of Fredonia, Ks. lettered all four years of high school in both basketball and volleyball.  After graduating from Fredonia High School in 2002 she went to Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri on a basketball and volleyball scholarship.   While at Cottey she was named First Team and Second Team All Region her freshman and sophomore volleyball season.  During her sophomore year she was named Co-Captain for the volleyball squad.  She was also a starter for the basketball team her freshman year.

After graduating from Cottey, Coach Chenoweth transferred to the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Ks.  At USM Carey was a starting middle blocker as well as the number two blocker in the KCAC conference, leading the team in blocking and hitting percentage throughout her senior season. 

Coach Chenoweth coached for three different club teams while she was finishing her education.  While in Nevada, Carey coached the 15's team for the Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club and while in Kansas City she coached 15's for Club North, located in North Kansas City.  This past year she coached for Lawson Volleyball Club where she coached a 14's and 15's team.

Chenoweth graduated in May of 2006 with her B.S. in Sports Administration and a minor in Business.
