Coach
"Delgo" is beginning his second season with the Broncbuster Track
and Field/Cross Country teams. Coach Delgado is no stranger to track
and field; Dan was a bronze medalist in the Class D triple jump
his senior year. During his high school career Dan competed in the
300 IH, 800, 1600, 3200, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump and 3200
meter relay.
Coach
Delgado has competed in numerous road races, biathlons and triathlons
and is an avid cyclist. He also won the bronze medal in cycling
in the '92 Cornhusker state games. Dan started his track and field
coaching career in Wakefiled, Nebraska where he served as both junior
high and high school coach.
Coach
Delgado received his bachelor degree in education from Wayne State
College in Wayne, Nebraska. He graduated from Keya Paha County High
School in Springview, Nebraska where he was a four year leterman
in football, basketball and track. He also played basketball and
was a triple jumper at the University of South Dakota in Springfield,
South Dakota.
Dan
is married to the former Trina Morrison, daughter of Bill and Teresa
Morrison. Trina serves as Principal of the Catholic Schools in Garden
City, Kansas. They have three boys, Biff 18, Spencer 10, Hunter
